Castles, beaches and a lot of running down hills.

Last week we were lucky to spend some time away in Northumberland with family. It rained...but we were able to mostly dodge the showers and managed to achieve what we went for: time on the beach and castle spotting! An unexpected joy of the holiday was the many opportunities for running up and down hills. I love seeing how much fun children can have doing such a simple activity and let's face it- even as a grown adult it still is pretty fun! I'm so grateful to live in a country that holds such natural beauty and for any opportunity to travel to see it.
